Gamut provided us with custom Gamut guides, but the newest item on the team bikes, along with a few of our own bikes, are Custom Straitline Components Pinkbike Pedals, in Chrome!

We have tested a few of the POC products, but the most notable, and well designed items we have tested to date has to be the Cortex DH helmet. The Cortex DH helmet is probably one of the most ventilated, and still well thought out helmets we have come across in our travels, and were here to explain some of the neat technologies that make the Cortex DH helmet what it is.

Anodization is coming back and it's not all purple!

Back in the days of spandex and skin suits anodization was the thing, but it was slowly fazed out just like the other two items. Recently we have been seeing more and more anodization coming back into the market, and it's actually refreshing to see, especially as it's not all purple! Companies are mixing it up with some crazy colors, and some neat designs, while still providing a shout out to those days that only some of us remember. Race Face recently launched their anodized lineup in a plethora of colors, 7 to be exact, and all of them are separately unique looking.

Mountain Cycle Battery

Single pivot slopestyle or Freeride phenom?

Built on 7 people's drive to create bikes, Mountain Cycle has recently brought the Battery up to full charge and it's their answer to the slopesyle needs of today's riders. The Battery is a super burly little bike with a whole ton of CNC'd parts. It has very clean lines, a very simple single pivot suspension design and a dialed geometry for what it's intended to do.

Moss Fires in Slessy Park - Do we want to keep the trails?

To all riders in the Chilliwack/Columbia Valley area!

Recently we were filming up on a local riding hill when we came across something that disturbed all of us greatly. Tree's, burnt to the canopy, smoldering with moss. Please, who ever is lighting tree's on fire on Slessy Mountain STOP, before we are missing our trails, or worse the residence of that hill.
