Brighton Ain't Ready - Teaser of sickness

Posted: Mar 11, 2009

Source: Brighton Ain't Ready

So you all know the story, us at Seventies spent 6 months, and invited 36 of the world's top riders to an apartment we hired in Brighton to make a filming project that became "Brighton Ain't Ready". This resulted in one of the most ambitious and unique DVD projects ever attempted in BMX history.

Click here for Brighton Ain't Ready...

Now it is being banded about the internet rather than being purchased in shops including appearing on Pinkbike's forum. For proof of how good it is, Steve Bancroft’s (Ride UK) last words in his review were, “Will this ever be topped?”!

The box set comes as 2 DVDs along with an accompanying 48 page color booklet. This is high quality and something to keep for years to come, far better than a streamed or downloaded version off the net.

It's getting harder and harder to justify filming projects when people end up watching them on youtube and vimeo instead of buying them so we took a massive risk with this one. If you want to support BMX and projects like this in the future please purchase a copy and support the industry. Thanks a lot!

Well that is kinda of a bummer. According to the listing on the canada/usa distributor (dans comp) its not compatible with North American dvd player.

unless you hack it and reburn it, but isn't this whole bit about just that?

This movie is dope!! But it doesn't work with all DVD players, its in a UK format or something like that. It usually works on computers but I don't know for sure.

We made the DVD in PAL as it was filmed on PAL cameras. However looking on walmart at basic DVD players it seems pretty much all NTSC DVD players are compatible with PAL nowadays. It's region free so you just need to check that your DVD player can play PAL DVD's. Dans is currently sold out but is getting more in hopefully (US distributor contacting today).

Thanks alot to everyone that has bought a copy you rule!
