MTBCut.tv Releases "Victory" Teaser

Kona Millionth Bike Won

Winner, winner, chicken dinner ... or a new Kona Cinder Cone.

After months of tracking the production progress - from start to finish - of the Kona Bicycle Company's One Millionth Bike, Shelly Girlatz of Balzac, Alberta, Canada is the winner and proud new owner of a 2009 Cinder Cone mountain bike. The celebratory contest tracked the day-to-day life of Kona's millionth bike from its production overseas to its random shipment to Calgary, Alberta. The bike was tracked using GPS inserted into the seat tube of the Cinder Cone, among other ways.

TSG and Sam Pilgrim in Museum Exhibit!

The Museum of Design in Plastics in Poole is part of the Arts Institute at Bournemouth and their new sports exhibition, Winning with Plastics, is finally up and running, and features TSG Helmet and Knee/Shinpads in the "protect" part of the exhibit.

They have been in contact with ourselves and Ruedi Herger from TSG and we have supplied them with a couple of Sam Pilgrim (signed) signature Evolution helmets and a pair of AM Kevlar Knee/Shinpads.

The charity auctions in favor of Wings for Life are about to start

From today on – 08:30 pm Central European time (CET) – charity auctions in favor of Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation will be put online. A signed Red Bull helmet, which was contributed by the German mountain bike pro-rider Benny Korthaus, is the first item to be auctioned.

Every other day, one of the overall nine items will follow.

Bike's in general have developed an immense amount in the past 10 years. Like a fruit bowl on the porch the biking industry has blossomed to its ripest, but it will not go rotten. In the past 10 years we have seen inventions that have blown our minds. Everything from suspension, to braking, to single sided swing arms, and we event went as far as to invent the gear box.

In our day to day ride we don't really stop to pay attention at what is really going on. Whats moving, whats shrinking, whats growing, and whats slowing us down are some of the things we may over look, but with minor adjustments or alterations we can improve our ride so much more.
