Qualifying just ended here in Quebec, and the weather was nice enough to hold out. It spat rain all morning, and was clouded in, but managed to hold itself off for the downpour.
Read on for photos and FULL qualifying results for Pro Men and Women here at Mont Sainte Anne...

Pro women full results HERE.
It's Hill in first place, Peat in second place, followed closely by Gee Atherton. These 3, plus 77 other riders will move on to tomorrow's main event. Four Canadians made the cut for tomorrow's show, including our own Kyle Marshall and the legend himself Shaun Palmer! Here are some shots from the qualifying run today, taken by yours truly!

Hill with a huge gap, holy
im sooo stoked for sam. hopefully he can do the same tomorrow and try to get close to getting that jersey!
7 seconds is ridiculous... the guy is unbelievable! it is a shame he still has some trouble keeping it together the whole run consistently
Hill might have gone pedal to the metal for qualy though and might not go that much faster in the final, whereas others who held back a little like they usually do will go a lot faster, minnaar flatted
just an expression to mean he went as fast as he could reallly whereas other held back like they normally do in qualies
is it just me or did minaar not qualify, i cant see his name anywhere, cos its huge if he's not qualified
minnaar will automatically qualify because he is in the top 10 .. or is it 20 ? im not sure but im pretty sure he will qualify anyways
hes protected so he does qualify, but looks like he had mechanical troubles or a crash, hes way near the bottom.
Ha yeah! Hill does may be trying to get maximum points from qualy though for the overall score. Is it 50 points for qualifying first?
I declare myself a huge fan of Dr. Peaty but... 7 secs is a huge gap!!! Still I think Peat will kick ass (hope not his own). Go Peaty!!!

I think Hill will win tomorrow!
And next week at bromont they dont even have to race it's Hills race all the way
i cant wait to see what palmer has in store, return of a legend, after practicing and riding with the likes of hill and peaty does he still have the skills to maybe be up there with them??
i'm happy for sam |! but the thing is that sam has an huge advantage over every other rider on the worldcup in Mont Saint-Anne and Bromont, since he' been riding bromont since the WC pause (his chalet is up here)and MSA 2 weeks ago. he rode both tracks in the canada cup series (winning the men's elite in boths) wich where helded 2-3 weeks ago. same thing for mitch delfs who was part of the canada cup races too. so expect some good action in both of these mountains because i think sam is going to rip it, i've seen him ride in both of these races (i was part of them myself) and let me tell you, he knows them and he rides them hard!

thing is guys, sam is a down and out awesome rider but, a lot of the world riders are taking it easy on the qualifying runs to save the energy for the finals. its a risk on points but they all count when it comes to the final tally. it suits Peaty's style and its a fast an flowy course that other riders like IE- gee and kovak'. it should be interesting to say the least...................... Come on GB.. hahahahha
Yeah man!
Kyle came through at 71st, then Sean at 72nd. Times changed obviously, but they were close!

That's corrrect, the top 20 are protected and Minaar was one of them, so 81 people will be racing the finals.
