RST Space Fork - Astronaut suit not needed.

RST or Rapid Suspension Technology has recently revamped their lineup of suspension products, and they are happy to bring you the new revised line up of forks. These forks have been built from the ground up using the input from professional riders and racers, as well as RST’s experience of over 15 years of bike suspension manufacturing. The designs cater to the budget minded, gram conscious rider who demands performance and durability on every ride, while not breaking the bank to get it.RST is best known as low end suspension fork manufacturer and only recently have they taken the step into the mid range market. The all new RST Space fork is a Dirt Jumping specific fork that has been designed around use on the dirt. Offered in 2 different fork options, the Space Jump, and Space Free, RST is trying to cater to the rider who may be on a budget, as well as the rider who wants to support a newly revised line of suspension.


The RST Space Jump fork is extremely light at 5.02 pounds, and has two travel options, 80 or 100mm. It features Magnesium lower leg casting, with 32mm stanchions made out of 7050, hard anodized aluminum. It's air sprung, which not only keeps the weight down, but allows for a vast amount of adjustment when it comes to spring rates. It has external rebound adjust, and uses RST's patented TQC Dropout System. This unique TQC Dropout system allows you to run a regular QR Hub with 20mm Thru-axle drop outs. The Space for has been designed for use with 26" wheels, and uses IS Disc Mounts.



The RST Space Free fork is slightly heavier than the Jump fork, weighing in at 5.73 pounds. Why is it slightly heavier? It uses a coil spring setup, with an MCU for bottom out control. It still features the same lowers, stanchions, and travel as the Jump fork however.
